Delafield, WI - This extensive Milwaukee historic restoration centered on pairing high-end composite tiles with meticulous copper metalwork. After removing the failing cedar shakes down to the deck, we installed premium synthetic underlayment, new bronze drip edges, and a luxury Brava Cedar Shake Class C system in Lake Forest, secured using stainless steel screws for maximum wind resistance. The highlight of the job involved spending four full days resoldering and tuning the home's existing standing seam copper roofs, turrets, and barrel sections, alongside custom-fabricating new copper aprons. To protect the copper drainage from heavy winter ice slides, our crew also re-pitched the copper gutters using non-corrosive stainless fasteners and installed 838 linear feet of staggered Rocky Mountain snow guards across the roofline. Another beautiful historic home restored to peak durability while keeping its character!

Maximum storm resistance was the primary focus for this project in Glendale! Rather than a standard eave-only barrier, our crew applied a full-deck ice and water shield membrane across the entire roof surface before installing a CertainTeed NorthGate ClimateFlex Class 4 impact-resistant shingle system in Moiré Black. We also carefully detached the home's existing gutters, resetting them with heavy-duty aluminum fascia brackets and custom-tuning the pitch to optimize flow directly toward the original downspouts.

This project in Whitefish Bay tackled active leak points by completely restoring both steep-slope and flat roof sections in one operation. On the main steep-slope structure, we installed a premium CertainTeed Landmark Pro shingle system backed by 7/16" OSB re-decking, a full CertainTeed 5-Star Warranty, a Zipper flashing for the electrical service mast, and extra ice and water shield defense around the existing Solar Tube. To resolve persistent water intrusion over the kitchen drywall, we paired the main roof with a Mule-Hide .60 mil EPDM single-ply rubber system on the rear flat section, fully sealing all wall transitions and adjacent porch joins. Finally, our team detached and re-pitched the existing gutter layout, adding a new dedicated downspout configuration to the southeast corner to guarantee total water management off the roofline.

This Milwaukee project tackled complex commercial flat roof mechanics across both an upper and lower level! After stripping away the existing surface stone and old rubber EPDM down to the deck, we sheathed interior walls with fresh OSB and installed 1.5" insulation boards. To guarantee long-term stability against membrane shrinkage, we reinforced all wall intersections and HVAC curbs with RMS tape before fully adhering a heavy-duty 60mm EPDM rubber system using 20'x100' seamless rolls. We then upgraded the building's drainage capacity by expanding to oversized 4" retrofitted drains with tapered insulation saddles to eliminate standing water, custom-fabricated a 24-gauge steel edge apron with 6" cured rubber sealing, and anchored 40 feet of reglet-cut steel counter-flashing along the masonry block wall. We were happy to provide this local Milwaukee business with a long-lasting new roof!

At this Saint Francis project, our crew performed a complete tear-off and re-decked the roof boards with fresh OSB to guarantee a level, long-lasting surface. We installed a durable CertainTeed NorthGate ClimateFlex Class 4 impact-resistant shingle system in Moiré Black, meticulously detailing around the home's existing feature elements—safely preserving three solar tubes and two B-vents with fresh ice and water shield seals. We finished the installation by adding new rear slant-back vents, pre-finished steel W-valleys, and custom re-pitched the existing seamless gutters using heavy-duty aluminum fascia brackets for reliable water runoff. We were happy to provide this property with a long-lasting and weather-ready roof.

This Hales Corners project tailored airflow design across both the main residence and detached garage! Alongside installing a heavy-duty CertainTeed Northgate Class 4 Impact Resistant shingle system in Pewter, we customized the ventilation to match the home's unique layout. We cut in edge intake ventilation along the south eave line, installed louver-style ridge vents along the main peak, and re-added two Air-Hawk slant back vents on the home's addition section. To complete the weather seal, we installed custom .26-gauge steel chimney counter-flashings with a continuous reglet-cut along the mortar line, replaced damaged north-side fascia wood, and carried matching impact-rated shingle and ridge protection over to the garage structure.

This project in Waukesha centered around specialized metal fabrication and a ventilation transformation for both the home and attached garage! Along with installing a high-performance CertainTeed NorthGate ClimateFlex Class 4 impact-rated shingle system in Heather Blend, we focused on solving unique roofline challenges. Our crew removed the existing power vent, added 12 new brown slant-back roof vents to optimize ventilation, and carefully worked around the existing B-vent and three plumbing stacks with lifetime silicone boots. The highlight of the restoration was the custom chimney work: we detached the surrounding siding to run a six-foot ice and water shield barrier, built a custom 26-gauge coated steel cricket, carefully reinstalled the original siding, and fitted the chimney with a brand-new 24-gauge steel cap. To finish it off, we protected the roof deck with painted "W" style galvanized valley metal and preserved the home's existing gutter system for a seamless, heavy-duty upgra

Mequon, WI - This Mequon transformation was all about fixing tricky detail work and increasing water capacity! Beyond installing a high-performance CertainTeed ClimateFlex impact-resistant roof in Moire Black, we focused on solving pre-existing trouble spots. We corrected a improperly lapped chimney flashing with a custom 26-gauge steel counter-flashing ground directly into the mortar joints, replaced failing boots with a heavy-duty 22.5-degree lead stack boot, and added four rear slant-back vents tailored to balance airflow for the unfinished attic space. To finish, we doubled the property's drainage capacity by upgrading to high-capacity 6" seamless aluminum gutters in Bronze to keep the foundation completely protected.

We recently completed a comprehensive exterior overhaul for a property in Greenfield, protecting both the main house and the detached garage against harsh Wisconsin weather. Our crew stripped away two layers of aged asphalt shingles down to the original boards, laying down fresh OSB sheathing across the roof structures to create a solid deck that locks in maximum manufacturer warranty protection. For dependable weather defense, we installed a dimensional CertainTeed Landmark shingle system in Heather Blend, backed by synthetic underlayment and a full six-foot winter ice and water shield barrier along the heated eaves, valleys, and transition points. We also took care of several critical structural and ventilation details across the property. Our team custom-cut 26-gauge brown steel chimney flashings with a continuous reglet cut, added a specialized zipper boot around the electrical service mast, and upgraded the plumbing stack flashings. To optimize airflow, we installed two additional

We recently completed a multifaceted exterior restoration for a homeowner right here in Whitefish Bay, tackling low-slope roofing, drainage, and entry upgrades in one project! Our crew began by stripping away two layers of old flat roofing and underlayment on the rear deck down to the base structure. To create an ultra-durable, level foundation, we installed mechanically fastened Firestone ISOGARD HD cover boards, framing in heavy-duty blocking to prepare the surface for future railing installation. We then fully adhered a commercial-grade 60-mil EPDM single-ply rubber membrane, detailed with 26-gauge prefinished steel perimeter edge metal, custom masonry wall counter-flashings, and reinforced EPDM seam tapes for a watertight seal. To complete the exterior transformation, we upgraded the rear drainage with brand-new 5" seamless aluminum gutters and 4" downspouts in Redwood, hand-cutting all corner miters and rerouting a downspout to improve runoff flow away from the foundation. I feel fortunate to have discovered Community Roofing! Above all they are a trustworthy team and gave me a great price on a new roof and gutters. I have a very tall, steep roof and many places want to up charge for that. Community Roofers were trustworthy from the quote to the finished work.

Top notch work, from taking the time with me up-front (being patient and helping me work through the choices) through installation (looks great & very minimal cleanup on my part afterward) and follow-up (back a day later to tack down 1 shingle that I didn't notice; also came back weeks later to talk to the attic insulation crew who initially though there was some water intrusion but it was from years earlier).
