Our team tackled an aging, cracking modified bitumen roof and a failing chimney crown. We carefully dismantled the failing masonry chimney below the roof line and patched the opening with new deck boards. After removing the old roof down to the substrate, we installed 1/2" mechanically fastened ISO cover board. We then fully adhered a seamless 60-mil Mule-Hide EPDM rubber membrane using custom 26-gauge coated steel aprons along all edges and pitched roof transitions. We finished by installing new rubber stack boots with water stop mastic, detaching and resetting the existing gutters with proper straps and screws, and re-securing the original gutter guards. The home is now fully weather-sealed, streamlined, and leak-free.

Wauwatosa, WI - A dual-system replacement addressed both sloped and flat roof areas for this home! Our crew stripped the single layer of asphalt shingles down to the deck, installed six feet of ice and water shield along eave edges, and laid a CertainTeed NorthGate shingle system in Silver Birch with Terra Bronze W-valleys, white drip edges, and white gutter aprons. On the low-slope roof, we stripped down to the decking, installed mechanically fastened ISOGARD HD cover board, treated 2x6 edge nailers, and fully adhered a black 60-mil EPDM rubber membrane with matching black metal aprons. Detailed work included removing the unused masonry chimney below the deck line, reinstalling the TV antenna, adding eight slant-back box vents, and updating lead stack flashings. Another Wauwatosa residence fully weather-sealed and restored!

Our team executed a thorough multi-phase renovation, transforming both the house and detached garage. We began by removing the old shingle layer on the house, installing 7/16" OSB re-decking, and laying a CertainTeed Landmark shingle system in Moiré Black. This was complemented by synthetic underlayment, 6 feet of eave ice & water shield, Desert Sand drip edges, black W-valleys, edge intake, and louvered ridge vents. We also installed reglet-cut steel chimney counter-flashing. The old vinyl siding was stripped, and both structures were wrapped in Tyvek, followed by the installation of 8" LP SmartSide Lap Siding in Garden Sage with Board & Batten accents, 4" LP outside corner posts, and Norandex Desert Sand aluminum soffit and 8" fascia. The project concluded with the installation of 187 LF of new 6" seamless aluminum gutters and 105 LF of 4" downspouts across both structures, ensuring a fully weather-sealed and restored property.

Milwaukee, WI - Our team addressed significant deck gaps and moisture concerns with a comprehensive dual-structure project. We began by removing the existing asphalt roofing from both the house and the detached garage. We then applied 7/16" OSB re-decking over the original roof boards to create a solid foundation and ensure full warranty compliance. My new roof is gorgeous, and the entire process was far exceeded any expectations I had. I got 6 different quotes for my new roof, and I knew I was going with Community Roofing from the first time I Met Jason Faulkner, the man who came to assess the job and give me the initial quote. He was not a salesman, he was a down to earth; boots on the ground experienced guy who walked me through many of the things he instantly was able to assess with my particular home. His honest and straightforward approach was beyond any of the other 5 companies I explored and he ended up giving me the best quote anyway, based on my needs. The next step was scheduling the job and I met Kelli Jory who was the project manager and stuck with me from the scheduling thru the final walk thru. Her communication was incredible and as things came up, she calls directly explaining everything and working with my schedule. She was also boots on the ground; day 1, there on property and up before I was just to be sure the dumpster was placed in the right location. No other company does that. Then the most important part, full tear off and installing of roof, began with a crew of over half a dozen of the most hard working, experienced, competent bunch of friendly, accommodating and efficient team of carpenters and craftsman I have ever seen. They finished the whole job in two days, including my garage roof which ended up having quite a bit of unforeseen underlayment rotted boards to replace. They kept an impeccable job site tryout with team members picking up construction material and nails while in progress. Weather is always an issue, and knowing there was a possibility of rain the morning after day 1, they continued to work into the night with headlamps on to ensure the half open roof was sealed and tarped and secure. Community Roofing is wonderful, my new roof and gutters are gorgeous and I could not be happier with my choice. You can save yourself a lot of time searching by having them out to quote your next job. I don’t often write long reviews like this, but that is how beyond expectation they went. Thank you to Jason, Kelli, and that beautiful team of craftsmen I had for my home. Patty

Top notch work, from taking the time with me up-front (being patient and helping me work through the choices) through installation (looks great & very minimal cleanup on my part afterward) and follow-up (back a day later to tack down 1 shingle that I didn't notice; also came back weeks later to talk to the attic insulation crew who initially though there was some water intrusion but it was from years earlier).
